A rare primate skull dating back 13 million years was recently discovered in Kenya by a team of international researchers. The fossilized skull of an infant ape-like creature is around the size of a lemon, and one of the most intact of its kind.
Somewhat resembling a modern-day gibbon, the find could provide new information about a little known period of pre-human history, when many species of apes were evolving in Africa.
