36 Schoolgirls Hospitalized in Colombia Following Suspected Ouija Board Session

A staggering thirty-six students wound up being hospitalized in a bizarre case of mass hysteria that swept through a school in Colombia and some believe that the eerie event was brought about by a Ouija board session. The very strange incident reportedly unfolded last week at the San Francisco de Asís School in the town of Timbiquí. Headmaster Emilio Balanta observed that "it is a very unusual phenomenon which occurred" wherein one student suddenly "started to struggle" and, as her classmates tried to help her, they also fell victim to whatever had taken hold of the girl. Ultimately, a whopping three dozen children were taken to the hospital due to various inexplicable symptoms including temporary blindness, fainting, and overwhelming anxiety.

Balanta went on to muse that "it was a diabolical situation" and declared that "there is no explanation for what happened, there is none." To that end, he indicated that many suspect something supernatural effected the girls, with some suggesting that a Ouija board session is to blame, while others have pointed the finger at "an online challenge," which one presumes is the Charlie Charlie divination game. Fortunately, Balanta reported that around 90 percent of the hospitalized students have since recovered from the episode. Oddly enough, the incident is the third case in the last year wherein a Ouija board has been blamed for causing chaos at a Colombian school with 28 students hospitalized back in March and, last November, nearly a dozen needed similar treatment.
