Astronomers using the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope in Chile have captured the most detailed images yet of a dog bone-shaped asteroid named Kleopatra. New observations provided more accurate estimates for its shape and mass, and show the bizarrely-formed space rock is approximately 168 miles long.
