A woman walking along a beach in Britain was left scratching her head when she stumbled upon the remains of a bizarre looking creature that she likened to an alien. The strange find (which can be seen below) was reportedly made in March of last year by Marilyn Inglis in the coastal community of Littlehampton, though it only came to light this past week. "You don't see too many things like that," she recalled, "we just stood there looking at it for a while." Inglis estimated that the creature measured approximately two feet in length and observed that "it didn't look bony, but was quite muscly." She later showed photos of the oddity to fishermen from the area, but nobody could identify the mysterious sea creature.
"If it had been April Fool's Day then I would think someone had created it," Inglis marveled, "but it looked too real." The curious creature proved to be so off-putting for Inglis and her friend, who was with her at the time, that they were too scared to move it or investigate much further beyond briefly filming it at the shoreline. As for what the animal could have been, she astutely noted that it bears a striking resemblance to similar remains that were found on a different British beach back in December. Dubbed a 'baby Loch Ness Monster,' that mysterious creature ultimately wound up being identified as thornback ray, which is also what experts believe Inglis likely encountered as well.
