In a wild story out of Las Vegas, a gas station employee was arrested for attempted murder after he allegedly attacked a customer with a baseball bat because he believed that the patron had taken too much cheese for his nachos. The bizarre incident reportedly occurred earlier this month at an Arco convenience store, where Myron Bullie was working the register. According to what he later told police, the gas station employee's overnight shift went sideways when victim Isaiah Taylor entered the shop and started acting unruly. Although Bullie kicked him out of the convenience store, the would-be patron returned shortly thereafter with the intention of buying some nachos.
Already annoyed at the persistent patron, Bullie told police that he exploded when saw Taylor taking an inordinate amount of cheese for his nachos to the point that he somehow managed to break the dispenser. The perceived disrespect from the patron was a proverbial bridge too far for the convenience store clerk, who proceeded to attack the careless customer with a baseball bat after pushing him out of the store. The weapon-wielding worker ultimately left the badly beaten Taylor on the ground outside the gas station where another patron found him and called 911.
Upon being questioned by police, Bullie admitted that he had been behind the attack that left Taylor with an array of injuries that required serious medical attention. After explaining the cheese-related circumstances that prompted the beating, the gas station worker indicated that he hoped that his actions would send a message to any other troublesome customers that he is not to be trifled with. While Bullie may have been successful in that regard, one imagines that was his last shift at the Arco station as he was subsequently charged with attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon.
