Brazen Serial Killer Turns Ghanaian Village into Ghost Town

By Tim Binnall

In an unsettling story out of Ghana, a village has turned into a veritable ghost town as residents are afraid to leave their homes due to a brazen serial killer who has struck four times over the past six months. According to a local media report, the chilling case is currently unfolding in the community of Bole, where the murderous miscreant began their reign of terror late last year by claiming their first victim and leaving the unfortunate individual's body in a public spot where it was easily discovered. When a pair of similar deaths occurred shortly thereafter, it was soon suspected that they were all the work of a serial killer and a subsequent fourth murder seemingly confirmed those fears.

In what appeared to be some kind of creepy calling card on the part of the killer, they placed a red towel over their latest victim, which only exacerbated the terror that has gripped the community. Particularly troubling to people in the village is that the proverbial Bole Butcher managed to strike while there was a sizeable police presence brought about by the murders. As a result, residents have understandably opted to remain inside their homes at night to protect themselves. "Nobody wants to be the next victim," a local official explained, "and that is why the whole town, after 8 PM, movement ceases." Meanwhile, authorities have redoubled their efforts to catch the killer in the hopes of restoring peace to the troubled community.
