An image of a supposed child ghost at Myrtles Plantation in Louisiana has gained attention on X (formerly Twitter). Originally shared on Facebook in 2023, the photo shows a tour group with a faint figure of a young girl in old clothes. The plantation, run by Clarke and Sara Woodruff from 1817, is reputedly haunted by their children who died of yellow fever, among other spirits, including a slave named Chloe. Myrtles Plantation, now a historic site with a restaurant and hotel, claims to be "one of America's most haunted homes." Recently, another ghostly image of a woman in a mirror was posted on their Facebook page. Comments from users describe their fascination and personal paranormal experiences at the site, including sudden temperature drops and unexplained occurrences during tours.
