Creepy Clowns Menace Visitors to British Park

By Tim Binnall

Visitors to a British park have reason to be on edge following a series of reported encounters with a group of creepy clowns who delight in frightening unsuspecting individuals. The latest case of harlequins up to no good has reportedly been unfolding in the community of Fleetwood for the past three weeks. Specifically, the scene of the strange incidents is the town's Memorial Park, where the clowns have seemingly taken up residence near the site's duck pond. Every weekend since the end of September, the troublemakers have appeared shortly after dusk with a sinister agenda.

Those unfortunate enough to have crossed paths with the clowns have reported the pranksters popping out of bushes, eerily sneaking up behind them, or, perhaps most frightening of all, persuading them as they walk along the park trails. While it's uncertain who could be behind the spate of sightings, given that they only occur on weekend evenings, it is probably a safe bet that mischievous teenagers are to blame. While local authorities have yet to acknowledge the harlequins haunting the park, those behind the scare tactics would probably be wise to quit while they are ahead, since the time and location of their next appearance are rather predictable and one can only imagine who might be waiting for them next weekend.
