A family in Florida were understandably bewildered when a man wandered into their home with the wild claim that he was a ghost. The very weird incident reportedly occurred last Thursday evening in the city of Fort Myers as the Brian McCaslin and his two daughters had just sat down for dinner. Their meal was quickly interrupted by what seemed to be someone knocking on their front door. When McCaslin went to see who it was, he was surprised to find a man in a bathing suit standing in their living room and the exchange that followed was nothing short of bizarre.
"He started to tell me that he was a ghost," the homeowner recalled, "and I shouldn't be able to see him. He was shocked that I could see him. He thought he was walking around and that nobody could see him." As one might imagine, the situation left McCaslin rather perturbed, but he was able to convince the 'spirit' to leave the residence without incident. However, this was not the end of the strange visit as the 'apparition, who identified himself as Kevin, proceeded to lock himself inside the truck of a work crew outside the home.
Much like his appearance during the family's dinner, Kevin's occupation of the vehicle did not last very long as the workers were able to convince him to exit the truck. He subsequently fled the scene and promptly vanished, ironically, not unlike a ghost. For his part, McCaslin reported the unsettling encounter to the police, though he opted not to press charges. "I think it’s all wild," he said, expressing hope that "we can find this individual and get them the help that they need."
