Investigators in Japan have reportedly uncovered a hush-hush FBI memo documenting the existence of extraterrestrial beings.
At the Hakui Centre for UFO Research in Tokyo, Japan investigators claim they have a FBI memo about flying saucers and their pilots - three feet tall aliens, Yahoo News reported.
Dated March 22, 1950, the purported FBI document says, "An investigator for the Air Force states that three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico.
"They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter.
"Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture.
"According to Mr (name redacted), the saucers were found in New Mexico due to the fact that the Government has a very high-powered radar set-up in that area and it is believed the radar interferes with the controlling mechanism of the saucers."
The top secret memo was promptly buried by the FBI in its vast labyrinth of records.
But, in 1994, the FBI opened a file on the UFO Hakui Centre itself, Mysterious Universe reported.
According to that memo, the Japanese UFO research organization would house a library with over 10,000 official documents gleaned from sources worldwide. The feds were said to be upset that the secret files would become available to the general public.
With the redacted 1950 memo newly released, the FBI's secret dossier on UFOs may once again face public scrutiny.
