A peculiar photograph from Mexico shows a saucer-shaped UFO in the sky above a sizeable statue of Jesus Christ. The intriguing image (seen below) was reportedly snapped by a witness in the city of Silao, which boasts a huge hill, known as Cerro del Cubilete, which is said to be the geographic center of the country. Atop the site is an approximately eighty-foot-tall bronze statue of Jesus Christ, at the foot of which religious ceremonies are often held. It was at one such recent gathering that an attendee took the curious picture that has gone viral on social media in Mexico.
In the photo, a clearly visible saucer-shaped object can be seen in the sky to the left of the statue's outstretched hand. A zoomed-in look at the anomaly, also featured below, shows that it sports a dark underbelly with what appears to be white smoke above it. As for what the odd object might have been, theories offered by viewers online have ranged from aliens or angels to a drone or an errant balloon.
