Ghost Child Photographed at Notoriously Haunted Plantation in Louisiana?

By Tim Binnall

An eerie photo snapped during a ghost tour at a notoriously haunted plantation in Louisiana appears to show the ghost of a child lingering behind the group of visitors. The spooky image, which can be seen below, was taken earlier this month during a gathering at The Myrtles Plantation and shared on social media by the proprietors of the site which has a longstanding reputation for being home to an array of spirits. "Looks like somebody wanted to tag along on this recent tour," they marveled, wondering if the suspected apparition could be "one of the Woodruff children," who are said to have perished at the building in the 1820s by way of an accidental poisoning.

In the image, what seems to be a somewhat translucent child can be seen behind the group participating in the ghost tour. Some observers have even suggested that the perceived ghost is wearing clothes from a different time period. However, doubt has been cast upon the contention that the image shows a genuine ghost as an individual responding to The Myrtles' post on Instagram claims to have also been on the tour that night and indicated that the 'spirit' is simply a little girl who was a part of the group. That said, they have yet to produce any proof for their assertion, which has been met with understandable skepticism. With that in mind, what do you think of the unsettling image?
