A South Korean YouTuber hoping to document paranormal activity inside an abandoned house wound up stumbling upon something far spookier when they discovered a dead body inside the residence. The unsettling incident reportedly occurred early Tuesday morning as the unnamed individual and a friend were exploring an empty home in the village of Haenggu-dong. Although they presumably hoped to record a chilling EVP or perhaps spot something inexplicably moving on its own, their investigation took a rather horrifying turn when, instead, they spotted an actual corpse inside the house.
To the duo's credit, they quickly phoned the police, who arrived on the scene and determined that the body was that of a 40-60-year-old man. They also indicated that the person likely died quite some time ago as their remains were badly decomposed. Ruling out foul play, forensic investigators plan to conduct an autopsy to determine what may have led to the man's demise. Despite the sensational nature of the experience, one assumes that the footage from this particular ghost hunt won't wind up on YouTube any time soon.
