In a tragic story out of Mexico, a popular online paranormal investigator was killed in what appears to have been a targeted shooting. The shocking incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday evening in the city of Juventino Rosas as ghost hunter Sergio VG was set to go live on his YouTube channel. Before the broadcast could begin, the paranormal investigator and a companion were surprised by a Hummer that pulled up beside their vehicle. From the mysterious SUV, armed men opened fire on the duo at close range, killing the ghost hunter and badly injuring his friend.

Authorities immediately launched an investigation into the shooting, though have yet to make any arrests. Chillingly, on the day before he was killed, the paranormal investigator posted a video wherein he showed how someone had scratched the doors and stolen the hubcaps from his SUV. Vowing revenge on the vandals, the ghost hunter seemed to suggest that something sinister was afoot as he noted that a peculiar truck had recently been seen cruising around his neighborhood.
