Ghostly Woman in Red Scarf Haunts the London Underground

Every Christmas, a ghostly woman wearing a red scarf is said to haunt Ickenham Station on the London Underground, reappearing at the spot where she tragically died. The legend dates back to 1952 when an engineer reported seeing the woman beckon him to a switchboard before vanishing. It's believed she died after falling and being electrocuted on the platform. Since then, many commuters and staff have witnessed her ghostly presence. This haunting is just one of many eerie tales associated with the London Underground, where ghosts are rumored to haunt various stations and tracks, including the Kennington Loop, where another ghost, also electrocuted, is said to slam train doors after passengers disembark.
