Democratic presidential front runner Hillary Clinton made some eyebrow-raising remarks at the end of a meeting with editors of the Conway Daily Sun in New Hampshire this past week.
When asked about the UFO phenomenon by a reporter, Clinton remarkably replied, "I'm going to get to the bottom of it."
According to the paper, she also stunningly said about ETs, "I think we may have been (visited already). We don't know for sure."
Clinton credited her campaign chairman John Podesta for urging her interest in the topic.
"He has made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out," Clinton told the Daily Sun. "One way or another. Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51."
Whether Clinton's seemingly strong stance on UFOs garners the attention of the mainstream media remains to be seen.
Given the theatrical state of the 2016 election, it's not entirely out of the question that UFOs could become a topic of conversation, especially if other high profile candidates respond to Clinton's remarks.
If this all sounds familiar, it may be because the scenario is eerily similar to what had been suggested by UFO activist Stephen Bassett in early December.
Bassett will be on C2C this coming Wednesday (1/6) and will likely have a lot to say about the Clinton comments and what they may mean for UFO disclosure.
