Police and the paranormal, fallen angels and aliens, and Marilyn Monroe's mysterious death were among the fascinating topics explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. And, here at the C2C website, we told you about a possible ghost cat caught on film, an eerie figure spotted in the woods of Kentucky, and an elaborate art heist involving a fake psychic. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.
Could fallen angels be posing as aliens in an attempt to ultimately take over the planet and usher in the arrival of the Antichrist? On Monday night's program, Bible scholar Scott Mitchell detailed why he believes that this troubling scenario is currently unfolding and has been in the works for a very long time. He argued that alien abductions and ET encounters are more likely the world of demonic forces rather than beings traveling to Earth from another planet and theorized that the end game of this agenda is to ultimately corrupt the human species by crossing our DNA with that of the fallen angels. This hybrid race, Mitchell warned, will allow for the Antichrist to emerge and, ostensibly, assume control of our world.
Several instances of possible ghostly activity popped up in this news this past week, starting with a piece of home security footage which seemingly shows the apparition of a cat crossing a driveway before vanishing into this air. Over in England, a woman reported hearing the plaintive wails of a child, but there was no one to be found when she went to help the distressed youngster, which led her to wonder if the cries had come from a ghost child. Meanwhile, a spilled pint at a haunted British pub was attributed to the establishment's resident mischievous spirit.
By the nature of their profession, law enforcement officers and other first responders often encounter paranormal phenomena and, on Tuesday night's program, researcher Gare Allen shared cases that he has collected from such individuals. He noted that there had previously been something of a reticence on the part of police and emergency personnel to reveal their experiences with high strangeness, though that has begun to change in recent years. To that end, during his appearance, Allen heard from several callers who are first responders and had accounts of premonitions of deaths that later occurred, ghostly encounters, and a seemingly possessed police cruiser.
This past week featured a pair of stories involving faux psychics behaving badly, beginning with a case from Canada wherein a woman inherited a sizeable sum of money following her stepfather's passing and turned to a self-described clairvoyant on TikTok for advice on how to spent the windfall. Sadly, the so-called soothsayer wound up convincing her that she was cursed and ultimately bilked the young woman out of a whopping $11,000. And, in Brazil, a woman orchestrated an elaborate scheme involving a fake psychic who helped her steal her mother's $139 million art collection.
The mysterious death of Marilyn Monroe took center stage on Saturday night's program as podcast producers Nina Boski and Randall Libero discussed some of the peculiar aspects of the iconic star's passing. They duo dismissed conspiracy theories which suggest that the actress was murdered and, instead, posited that Monroe's addiction to medication was likely the true cause of her demise. To that end, they noted that she had been prescribed a staggering 700 sleeping pills three months prior to her death. Boski and Libero also pointed to the toxicology report which found that Monroe perished from a lethal cocktail of prescription drugs.
Easily the creepiest story from the past week came by way of Kentucky, where a person walking along a wooded path allegedly encountered an eerie figure dressed in what appeared to be a hooded black robe. The bewildered witness managed to capture video of the mysterious stranger, though the footage is incredibly brief as the person behind the camera was understandably trying to avoid the spooky individual. Theories for who the figure could have been range from the fantastical, including the Grim Reaper or the devil, to the prosaic, such as a prankster in a costume or simply a clever hoax.
