Extraterrestrial contact, high strangeness in the UK, and a numerological look at 2023 and beyond were among the fascinating topics explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. And, here at the C2C website, we told you about a pair of possible Nessie sightings, a photo allegedly showing an alien in Bolivia, and a prankster who wound up in the hospital following a foolish fountain stunt. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.

Paranormal phenomena in the United Kingdom took center stage on Sunday night's program as Malcolm Robinson recounted an array of high strangeness cases from the British Isles. He recalled conducting a ghost investigation at a haunted house in Scotland and having a room suddenly become illuminated by a tiny dots of light that he likened to some kind of psychic energy. He also detailed an astounding incident in which a woman saw both an alien gray as well as the ghost of a young girl manifest in her bedroom at the same time. Other cases covered by Robinson during his appearance included poltergeist accounts as well as possible fairy photos.

The legendary Loch Ness Monster found its way into the headlines this past week by way of two possible sightings of the famed cryptid. First, while participating in the massive search for Nessie last weekend, a pair of spotters captured footage of an intriguing anomaly that briefly emerged from the waters of the iconic Scottish site. Later in the week, a woman in Scotland came forward with some truly fantastic photos of some kind of eel-like creature that she observed at Loch Ness back in 2018. Fearing ridicule, she kept the amazing images secret for five years until finally revealing them to the world this week after being inspired by the recent Nessie hunt.

Contact with extraterrestrials was a hot topic of conversation this past week on Coast to Coast AM with two separate guests detailing their experiences with otherworldly visitors. First, on Saturday night's program, David Barnett talked about spiritual beings which transported him to an alien world where he encountered sentient insect-like creatures. He also discussed ET hybrids and posited that there are actually such beings living among us and hiding in plain sight here on Earth. Then, on Tuesday night's program, contactee Bonnie Meyer shared insights from her interactions with many different alien species, including a meeting wherein a whopping 16 different ET civilizations were represented.

A particularly tantalizing photo from Bolivia made headlines this past week as it appears to show an alien walking alongside a river. Said to have been taken at the Pilcomayo River in the city of Tarija, the remarkable image spread like wildfire on social media in the country with many marveling at the semi-transparent being that resembles a four-foot-tall classic gray alien. That said, not everyone was convinced of the picture's veracity with many arguing that the photo was simply too good to true and, as such, likely the product of computer manipulation. To that end, a prominent ufologist in Bolivia called for the image to be thoroughly investigated in order to determine if it is genuine or not.

With this weekend being the unofficial end of summer, we'll soon be entering the home stretch of 2023 and, on Wednesday night's program, numerologist Glynis McCants reflected on the events of the past year as well as provided a forecast for what's to come. Noting that 2023 is a '7' year, which connects to the environment, she observed that this was borne out by way of the wildfires that devastated Maui, the simultaneous earthquake and hurricane in California, and the recent hurricane which hit Florida. As for the future, she indicated that politics will be a major factor in the year ahead, both in America as well as abroad.

By far the weirdest story of the week occurred in Switzerland, where a misguided individual wound up needing to be hospitalized following a foolish stunt at an enormous fountain. The odd incident saw the unnamed ne'er-do-well somehow bypass security at Geneva's famed Jet d'Eau, which sprays 138 gallons of water per second to create a towering 460-foot-tall torrent. Upon arriving at the fountain, the man proceeded to put his face over the nozzle, sending him soaring backward. He then made a second approach and, this time, the jet of water threw him high up into the air and crashing down onto a walkway. The man was subsequently fished out of the surrounding lake by police and taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained by the misadventure.
