In a very weird story out of Kenya, a man suspected of stealing a television returned to the scene of the crime with the pilfered TV set purportedly stuck to his head due to the spell of a witch doctor. According to a local media report, the bizarre tale of crime and justice recently unfolded in the town of Kakamega after a ne'er-do-well robbed a resident's house. Understandably upset at having fallen victim to the burglary and seemingly left with no other recourse, the homeowner turned to a local witch doctor in the hopes of recovering their lost property and it would appear that the sorcerer's spell was successful.
Shortly after the witch doctor performed some kind of ritual, residents of Kakamega were astonished by the sudden appearance of a man sporting the stolen television atop his head (seen below). The individual, who is now believed to be behind the break-in, claimed that the TV set was somehow stuck to him. Adding an additional layer of strangeness to the story, the accused thief was said to have been attacked by a swarm of bees as he walked back to the home from where the television originated. Upon arriving at the residence, the clearly repentant man not only returned the TV set, but he actually went so far as to set it up for the homeowner.
Having essentially confessed to the caper, the man was subsequently 'freed' from the witch doctor's spell by way of "a series of rituals" so that he could be taken into custody by police, where he will presumably face a less supernatural form of justice. While some saluted the sorcerer for a job well done, since the community has been plagued by break-ins in recent weeks, not everyone was convinced that what they saw was genuine. To that end, a number of skeptical residents theorized that the 'stuck TV' was really just an elaborate ruse aimed at generating customers for the sorcerer, which sounds plausible, though how the magician managed to conjure up a swarm of bees to attack the man is something of a mystery.
