A car transformed into a 'flying saucer' had its journey to Roswell briefly delayed when the driver of the vehicle was pulled over while cruising along a highway in Missouri. The odd traffic stop, which occurred on Friday evening near the city of Cuba, was detailed on social media by the local sheriff's office, which marveled that "you never know what will be traveling through Crawford County, but this one was a little out of this world." Showcasing pictures of the curious craft pulled over on Interstate 44, the department explained that the two "friendly humanoids" in the vehicle were on their way to the famed Roswell UFO Festival this coming weekend when they caught the attention of a sheriff's deputy out on patrol.
According to a local media report, Maj. Adam Carnal specifically stopped the 'UFO' because it possessed an expired plate and had also been observed failing to stay within its lane on the highway. Regarding the former violation, the department jokingly indicated that the driver "assured us that he would take care of that issue when he returned to Krypton," which in this instance is actually Indiana. The amusing Facebook post also assured the public that the motorist "was also warned about our strict enforcement of warp speed on the interstate and to keep his phasers on stun only while traveling." Marveling that the motorist "was a super friendly guy." Carnal opted to let him off with a warning so as not to spoil his forthcoming weekend in Roswell.
