Washington state officials have shut down a highway after an enormous landslide swept across the road.
A breathtaking image taken by the Washington Department of Transportation captured the massive scope of the event as the landslide aftermath dwarfs a nearby truck.
According to officials, the wave of rubble measures an amazing 50 feet deep and 100 feet long.
Increased saturation throughout December is seen as the likely cause for the event.
Considering the epic size of the landslide and the gigantic boulders contained in the rubble, it's likely to be quite some time before commuters regain access to the roadway.
That is, of course, provided they'd actually be brave enough to drive there again.
