NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite or TESS recently identified a potentially Earth-like planet just 31 light-years away from us in the constellation Hydra. Though somewhat larger than our world, 'GJ 357 d' (pictured in illustration) orbits its dwarf star in what is considered the habitable range, and could have an atmosphere to retain warmth and liquid water. Two other larger planets, also newly discovered, orbit in this solar system as well. More at CBS News and NASA.
