(4) A bright flash lit up the sky over western Washington state at 2:45 AM on Thursday morning. Pictured are two shots from a security camera at a Washington casino that show just before and during the flash. After some controversy(1) over the source of the skyburst, a just published AP article(2) confirms that it was a meteor "about the size of a small piece of luggage or a computer monitor." Check out various videos of the flash at these sites: KPTV.com(3), Seattle Times, and KOMOTV.com.
