This curiosity is but one of a vast array of taxidermied animals, both real and hand-crafted hybrids, soon to go up for auction in the UK. The oddities were part of a museum on the Isle of Wight since 1945 and the precise origins of the pieces remains shrouded in mystery. The collection boasts 250 pieces, including seven lions, three zebras as well as a number of bizarre creations like a cat with wings and a unicorn. More on the story here.
