Ouija Board Blamed for Sending 28 Schoolgirls to Hospital in Colombia

A bizarre incident at a school in Colombia saw a staggering twenty-eight girls require hospitalization and some parents contend that a Ouija board is to blame. The weird case reportedly occurred late last month in the town of Galeras when the students suddenly began inexplicably fainting and exhibiting various symptoms related to anxiety. The curious condition seemingly swept through the school and ultimately led to the afflicted girls being taken to the hospital for treatment. In a search for answers as to what could have caused the unsettling event, an unlikely suspect emerged as several parents suggested that the girls had fallen ill after playing with a Ouija board.

It is uncertain if these claims are genuine or merely the result of rumors spreading throughout the community. To that end, the head of the school seemingly tried to squelch the supernatural suspicions by way of a video message wherein he lamented that, following the odd outbreak, "a series of comments were unleashed on the community that, rather than helping to resolve the situation, led to confusion and an adverse environment for our work." Strangely enough, this is not the first time that a Ouija board has been blamed for causing Colombian schoolchildren to become sick as an eerily similar case occurred this past November when nearly a dozen students collapsed after they were said to have played with the infamous device.
