The organizers of a forthcoming gathering of Scottish psychics are being roasted online after they postponed the event "due to unforeseen circumstances." According to a local media report, the soothsaying soiree was set to be held this coming Friday evening at the Novar Arms Hotel in the village of Evanton. However, this past weekend, the venue posted an eyebrow-raising announcement on social media wherein they indicated that the event had been bumped to January with a rather ironic explanation for the rescheduling.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances," the hotel explained, the talent agency providing the psychics for the event was forced to postpone the gathering. As one might imagine, the unexpected turn of events left many social media users laughing. "Not a great advert for the psychic, is it," joked one individual, while another wryly observed, "thought they would have seen that coming." To that end, while the hotel assured prospective attendees that their tickets would be honored in January, they also offered refunds for anyone who either can't make it or might be soured on the idea of having their future foretold by a suspect psychic.
