Remarkably Clear Flying Saucer Photo Snapped by Stunned Witness in China

By Tim Binnall

A fantastic picture taken by a photographer in China provides a remarkably clear view of a classic flying saucer floating in the sky. The tremendous image, seen below, was reportedly snapped on Monday in the city of Xiamen by an individual identified as 'Cirenim' on Chinese social media. The self-described amateur street photographer subsequently shared the picture online, marveling that they had "captured something similar to a UAP." The curious object seen in the image resembles a disc-shaped craft that sports a band across the middle and appears to be metallic as the sun reflects off the top of the UFO.

While some observers were quick to posit that the image could be a clever hoax, others have pointed out that Cirenim's Chinese social media account features an array of otherwise normal landscape pictures which would seem to suggest that the flying saucer was a genuine anomaly that happened to catch the photographer's attention. As for what the odd object might be, theories so far include otherworldly visitors, a clandestine Chinese drone, or perhaps something more prosaic such as an errant balloon.
