In a strange story out of Spain, a woman claims that her ex-boyfriend enlisted a psychic medium to cause terrifying paranormal activity to occur in her home. The weird case is reportedly being investigated by authorities in the city of Valencia after the victim turned to the police for help with the unsettling situation. According to the woman, as the couple's relationship became frayed, the man sought out a self-described mystic to put a scare into his paramour. Shortly thereafter, she said, a painting in her home inexplicably levitated off a table before falling onto the floor. However, this was just the start of the weirdness that unfolded at the residence.
On another occasion, the woman told police, the sound of disembodied footsteps could be heard behind a wall in the home. Moments later, the man conveniently appeared at her door with the wild story of having just encountered the spirit of her recently deceased father. Chillingly, her ex-boyfriend indicated that the spirit cautioned him about the couple possibly breaking up and warned that his daughter would die if such a thing were to happen. As 'proof' of the spooky visitation, the man asserted that the spirit had smashed a glass that just so happened to sit on the same shelf as a picture of the woman and her father.
The unsettling events culminated with a creepy episode wherein someone or something entered her home while she was away. The interloper proceeded to move various objects around the residence and placed a doll at the doorway of her bedroom. Whether the activity was genuinely the work of the psychic medium in the man's employ or simply a series of sinister tricks on his part, the woman ultimately had enough of the perceived paranormal torment, which led her to report the unnerving situation to the police. The man has since been charged with domestic violence with a restraining order also being issued to prevent him from coming into contact with his former girlfriend, who will hopefully find that the supernatural activity in her home has suddenly ceased.
