Palo Alto-based firm Opener has developed a flying car prototype that it claims anyone can pilot and, when released, will be affordable—costing about the same as a sports car. The single-seat prototype, called BlackFly, is powered by eight propellers, four on each wing, and can travel for up to 25 miles reaching speeds around 62 mph. According to the company, drivers won't need a pilots license to operate the all-electric aircraft.
