The Cassini spacecraft recently captured a stunning photo of Saturn and its moon Titan shining as crescents against the black of space. The celestial objects were imaged by the NASA probe as it was flying approximately 1.1 million miles from the ringed planet. According to NASA officials, "Titan's crescent nearly encircles its disk due to the small haze particles high in its atmosphere scattering the incoming light of the distant sun."
