In a curious case out of Turkey, the radar detection of a UFO sparked a massive search after the anomalous object mysteriously disappeared over a forest. According to a local media report, the weird event occurred early Tuesday morning when the undescribed oddity was spotted in the airspace over the city of Kastamonu. Officials observing and assessing the peculiar incursion were quickly forced to spring into action as the UFO suddenly vanished from the radar screen when it was over a wooded area in a nearby community.
Responding to what was believed to be either the UFO crashing or landing at the location, authorities dispatched multiple specialized police units and enlisted the Turkish Air Force to look for the mysterious object of unknown origin. Strangely, the extensive search proved futile as those combing the ground found nothing, and thermal drones scanning over the area also failed to determine the cause of the commotion.
