In a strange story out of Malaysia, a staggering fifty boarding school students were overcome with hysteria and one parent claims that the eerie event was caused by a supernatural creature sighting. The weird incident reportedly occurred this past Sunday afternoon at the Special Model National Secondary School in the community of Batu Kikir. According to administrators, 31 girls and 19 boys were affected by the contagious panic attack that caused them to scream and cry. While school officials offered no explanation for what was behind the bizarre case of mass hysteria, a mother of a student has come forward with a particularly chilling claim.
"My child saw a creature resembling a friend calling them to the field," the unnamed woman said, explaining that the sighting was understandably unnerving as her daughter's companion was next to her and also looking at the doppelganger that was presumably able to take on her appearance by way of some kind of supernatural powers. "At first, her friend screamed, then it spread to others, including my daughter, before each began to cry," the mother revealed, "fortunately, her friend managed to hold her back from going to the field." As one might imagine, the woman's wild assertion has not been confirmed by school officials, who simply sent the students home for a week so that they could recover from the mysterious incident.
