Teacher Sleeps in 'Haunted' Classroom to Dispel Spooky Legend at Indian School

An Indian teacher is being lauded for his ingenuity and bravery after he spent the night in a purportedly haunted classroom to prove to his students that there were no spirits at the school. According to a local media report, the spooky sleepover came about when newly hired instructor Nuthal Ravindar's pupils were left unusually shaken when a tree suddenly and inexplicably fell outside the building. Upon asking the students what was behind their weird reaction to the seemingly innocuous incident, he learned of a longstanding school legend surrounding a particular classroom that is said to be haunted.

What followed was a vigorous debate between Randivar and the students as to the existence of ghosts, specifically spirits possibly residing in the allegedly haunted classroom. Unable to convince the youngsters, who shared eerie accounts of weird events at the location, the teacher came up with a rather clever way of settling the argument. To bust the 'ghosts,' Randivar agreed to sleep in the notorious classroom this past Friday night. With a group of students eagerly waiting outside, he emerged unscathed the following morning, which convinced the kids and seemingly put an end to the school's haunted reputation.
