Across America, people are looking to the skies in hopes of spying one of 10 red balloons launched Saturday by government agency DARPA. The balloons are part of a contest celebrating the 40th anniversary of ARPANET, the precursor to today's Internet. Contestants, many of whom have been preparing for today's launch for months, have formed online teams in order to properly scour the entire continental US. The first team to correctly determine the coordinates of all 10 balloon will win $40,000. More on the story at ABC News.
