Paranormal history is replete with mysterious strangers who seemingly show up out of nowhere and then quickly disappear. And, in a handful of instances, they've left behind tantalizing clues which suggest that they may have come from a parallel world. YouTube user Dark5 has compiled an absolutely riveting video featuring mind-boggling stories of such individuals allegedly visiting from distant lands located in a different dimension.
Perhaps the most infamous tale contained in the video is a relatively recent account from 1954 in which a Caucasian man arrived at the Haneda airport in Japan and told inquisitive customs officials that he hailed from a country called 'Taured.' Authorities might have just assumed that the passenger enjoyed 'a few too many' during the flight, except that his passport confirmed the curious origin story and was unlike any such paperwork they'd ever seen. Adding another layer of intrigue to the encounter was that the passport featured stamps from that very airport which dated back five years, but they'd only begun receiving international flights two years prior.
When challenged to show the officials where Taured could be found on a map, the man became rather unsettled when he saw that, in our world, it was the European postage stamp country of Andorra and not his homeland. No doubt thoroughly bewildered by the entire affair, immigration officials ordered him held in a hotel room while they got to the bottom of the mystery. They were soon presented with another layer of strangeness when the man promptly vanished from the guarded room and was never seen again.
Another story highlighted in the collection took place nearly a hundred years earlier in 1851 when a man named Jophar Vorin appeared in Frankfurt, Germany. Much like his fellow traveler at the Haneda airport, this man claimed to reside in a heretofore-unheard-of country called Laxeria. And, similar to the strange passport produced by the man from Taured, Vorin's story was bolstered by the fact that he was able to both speak and write in his native language, Laxerian, and it was unlike any tongue previously heard before by witnesses.
