In a jaw-dropping moment at a Mexican Congressional hearing on the UFO phenomenon, a prominent researcher in the country unveiled a pair of alleged alien bodies said to have been recovered from a cave in Peru. The astounding specimens were reportedly presented to assembled politicians by ufologist and journalist Jaime Maussan on Tuesday in Mexico City. Displayed in two separate boxes, the eerie remains somewhat resemble the classic depiction of a grey alien as they are diminutive in nature, sport sizeable heads, and feature only three fingers on each hand. While testifying under oath, Maussan argued that the odd bodies are "a clear demonstration that we are dealing with non-human specimens that are not related to any other species in our world."
Making the case for that fantastic scenario, the UFO researcher claimed that testing on the remains determined that more than 30% of their DNA was "unknown." He also asserted that carbon dating on the bodies found that they are around 700 to 1,000 years old. Intriguingly, x-rays of the mysterious entities were also displayed during the presentation and the scans showed that they contained some kind of metal implant as well as, in one of their bodies, what appeared to be eggs. While Maussan conceded that "we don't know" if the beings are genuine aliens, he theorized that "they were intelligent and they lived with us" and, as such, "they should rewrite history."
The stunning presentation has understandably sparked headlines around the globe with some online observers incorrectly drawing the conclusion that it constituted official 'alien disclosure' from the Mexican government when, in fact, it was just Maussan's personal testimony alongside experts that he had assembled for the event. As such, one would be wise to temper their expectations and excitement at this time until further tests on the bodies can be completed as he has previously made similar claims concerning mummified alien bodies found in Peru which ultimately did not turn out to be extraterrestrial in nature.
