A peculiar satellite image captured by Google Earth appears to show a downed flying saucer in a remote part of South Africa. The puzzling find was made by indefatigable anomaly hunter Scott Waring, who was using the popular mapping service to search for strange and unusual objects that may be hiding in plain sight here on Earth. While examining images of a desert area in South Africa, he noticed an curious oval shape seemingly sitting amidst a small grove of trees in a desert area.
Waring subsequently utilized the Google service's historic images of the area to determine that the object first appeared in the location in around May of 2015 and that, at the time, there was a large circle embossed in the dirt around the oddity. Pictures taken a few months later show a road extending to the anomaly and a pair of white trucks now located nearby. "The object looks like a classic disk with a pointed hump at its center," Waring observed, "it looks like this is a landing location of an alien craft that attempted to hide its existence from the world."
As for what the path to the object might portend, the anomaly hunter offered the imaginative theory that the pilot of the downed craft "has created a dirt road to the area and is probably in a city nearby manipulating the direction the human race will go by introducing new technology, cures, ideas and such." While the idea of an ET arriving in South Africa and secretly revealing its advanced alien ideas is a delightfully intriguing scenario, skeptics will suggest that the 'craft' is merely some kind of unique-looking building. Fortunately, since Google Earth shows exactly where the anomaly is, this may not wind up being a mystery for very long should someone venture out to the enigmatic object to determine it's nature.
