Video: Bigfoot Obstructs Trail Camera in New Mexico?

By Tim Binnall

A puzzling picture snapped by a trail camera in New Mexico shows a mysterious creature obstructing the device and some suspect that the hairy figure may have been Bigfoot. The intriguing image (seen isolated here) was submitted to the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization by Dave Dial, who explained that the photo was taken this past October in the Sangre de Cristo mountains near Carson National Forest. According to him, the previous day, he and his dogs had been exploring the area when they were stopped in their tracks by "a blast of sound from the trees just above us." Likening the cacophonous call to "a cross between a coyote on steroids howling and a siren," Dial recalled marveling that "everyone in Taos County had to have heard that!"

Recounting how the unsettling sound deeply disturbed one of his dogs, the man noted that he had to pin the animal to the ground to keep it from going after whatever was behind the booming noise. Eventually, Dial said, the source of the curious call began moving away from them, traveling up into the mountains and "eventually fading away." Intrigued by the eerie experience, he set up a trail camera near the location in the hopes of identifying the mysterious creature that created that sound that so troubled him and his animals. Upon checking the device the following day, Dial was stunned to discover something rather remarkable.

The device took 21 photos of common creatures roaming the area, he observed, and one final picture that showed something tall and hairy seemingly standing very close to the camera, approximately six feet off the ground. Dial theorized that the peculiar photo shows the chin and upper torso of a bipedal beast that he does not believe was a bear. Adding one last strange detail to the tale, he indicated that after the picture was snapped, something "opened the camera, causing the lens/motion sensor to be facing toward the tree resulting in no more images being captured."
