A man working in a wooded area of Virginia snapped a photo of what he believes to be Bigfoot peering out at him from behind a tree and, later that evening, recorded some eerie howls that he also suspects came from Sasquatch. The remarkable case, which came to light this week by way of the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch organization, is said to have occurred in a forested area of the state known as Lick Fork around three years ago when the witness, identified as Harley, was working at a sawmill. According to the man, while grabbing a drink from his truck during a break, he heard an unsettling growl from the nearby treeline. After hearing the sound a second time, he glanced over at the area and was astounded to see a large, dark figure watching him from behind a tree.
"When I would look, it would hide," Harley recalled, though noted that "luckily, I got a picture." Although he initially thought that the possible creature could have been a bear, the witness insists that "the way it acted and moved" convinced him that this was not the case. Later that evening, Harley's experience became even weirder when he heard a series of haunting howls emanating from the nearby woods. Fortunately, he managed to capture the sounds (which can be heard in the video above) with his phone. Amazingly, in addition to the photo as well as recordings, the witness also found several sizeable prints in the area a few days later.
