A spooky video that has gone viral on social media in India appears to show an eerie apparition manifesting out of thin air. The creepy clip was reportedly posted on Twitter earlier this week by an individual who claimed that the strange scene unfolded outside of a police station in the city of Aligarth. The footage, which appears to have come from a security camera, starts with a view of an empty road. After about ten seconds, a figure in white instantaneously appears and then nonchalantly walks away from the camera before suddenly vanishing in manner similar to how it first appeared.
Shortly after being posted online, the video spread like wildfire on social media in India and subsequently covered by multiple media outlets in the country. It is claimed that the footage has understandably left some Aligarth concerned about ghosts in their community. However, more skeptical observers insist that the video is a rather poorly-edited hoax and point to the abrupt way in which the 'ghost' appears and then disappears in the blink of an eye.
