In a continuation of a worrisome and weird trend, a pilot approaching Los Angeles International Airport spotted what appeared to be a man flying around in a jetpack. The strange sighting reportedly occurred Wednesday evening as the witness was approximately 15 miles from the airport. After they reported the unidentified flying person, air traffic controllers proceeded to issue a warning to nearby aircraft about the mysterious interloper in their midst. "The jet man is back, let me know if you see him," the ATC operator informed one pilot and then asked another if they had "seen the UFO." That individual appeared to have a sense of humor about the situation as they replied "we were looking, but we did not see Iron Man."
The sighting is the fourth such incident, following a series of reports in the latter half of last year, involving wherein pilots reported seeing a person flying a jetpack near LAX. An FBI investigation into the initial cases concluded that the pilots probably saw either a balloon or a drone made to look like a person rather than an actual individual taking to the skies around the airport with a jetpack. This was echoed by aviation experts who say that pulling off such a flight in a clandestine or safe manner is highly unlikely. Be that as it may, much like the UFO phenomenon in general, the enigmatic anomaly has apparently appeared once again and its precise nature remains a mystery.
