Video: Loch Ness Webcam Watcher Spots Large Anomaly Swimming Across Water

By Tim Binnall

An indefatigable Loch Ness webcam watcher recently spotted a sizeable anomaly swimming across the water at the famed Scottish site. The sighting reportedly occurred this past Friday afternoon as Eoin O’Faodhagain was monitoring a livestream overlooking the location from the nearby Clansman Hotel. As seen above, the virtual monster hunter observed a large object emerge from the water "over half a mile away from the webcam." The curious suspected creature subsequently moved across Loch Ness for around a minute before eventually submerging.

Likening the observation to a similar sighting he had in July, O’Faodhagain estimated that the mystery creature was a whopping 25 feet long. He also likened the movement of the beast to a serpent or eel rather than "a large fish or seal." The sighting is something of a return to form for O’Faodhagain following the misidentification of a swimmer in September. While his latest capture may not constitute proof of Nessie, it is a reassuring sign that last month's miscue did not deter the dedicated virtual monster hunter, who is clearly still keeping an eye on the site in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the famed creature.
