Video: Over 100 Right Shoes Stolen from Cincinnati Sneaker Shop

By Tim Binnall

A bizarre burglary at a Cincinnati sneaker shop saw a trio of sticky-fingered miscreants make off with over 100 of the store's right shoes. According to a local media report, the curious caper occurred at Inside Sole Bros in the early morning of October 8th. Alerted to the situation by the shop's security system, owner Hunter Emigh narrowly missed the thieves when he rushed over to the store in response. In assessing what had been lost during the break-in, he came to the "demoralizing" realization that "they took almost every other shoe to a lot of the pairs that were on the wall."

As one might imagine, the break-in decimated the unfortunate sneaker shop to the point that a beleaguered Emigh initially considered closing the store. However, in a social media post detailing the situation, he indicated that they plan to remain open and rebuild their inventory as best they can. Meanwhile, both the shop owner and police have released security footage from the robbery with a call on the public for any tips they might have as to the identities of the troublemakers behind the weird heist. Should they be brought to justice, one hopes that not only can the split pairs of sneakers be reunited, but that we will also find out why exactly the thieves only stole the right ones.
