A pair of fantastic photos snapped by tourists in Argentina features a remarkably clear view of what appears to be a flying saucer cruising across the sky. According to a local media report, the intriguing images were captured earlier this month by a party aboard a catamaran en route to the Beagle Channel, famously home to several massive penguin colonies. In typical tourist fashion, as the group made their way across the water, they took several pictures of the breathtaking scenery without noticing anything unusual. It was only later when they returned to their hotel and revisited the photos from the day, that they noticed something truly unusual in two of the images.
As showcased in the video above, a pair of pictures show a mysterious saucer-shaped object hovering several feet above the water. Based on what seems to be the reflection of the sun, the odd anomaly appears to be metallic. Since being posted online, the images have sparked considerable speculation as to the nature of the curious object. While some have suggested that the curious anomaly could be an otherworldly visitor, more skeptical observers posit that the puzzling saucer shape may have a prosaic explanation such as a drone, a meteorological phenomenon, or simply a camera glitch.
