A West Virginia woman was left scratching her head when she spotted a mysterious creature lingering near a tree at a park. According to a local media report, the strange sighting occurred late last month as Brittany Keller drove through Ritter Park in the city of Huntington. Her normally routine commute to work took a wondrous turn when she gazed out the window of her car at several deer by the side of the road. Keller subsequently did something a double-take when she noticed a curious critter next to the animals. "I stopped to take a better look," she recalled "I realized that it was something I had never seen around here before."
Fortunately, Keller managed to film the mysterious creature with her cell phone and subsequently posted it on social media, where it generated an array of theories. One of the more prevalent suggestions was that the animal may have been a lemur, though many dismissed that explanation since such animals reside in Madagascar, which is thousands of miles away from West Virginia. Meanwhile, a wildlife expert indicated that the creature resembled a fox with mange or a similar ailment that made it look unusual. That said, unless the animal surfaces again, its true nature seems destined to remain a mystery. What do you think Keller spotted while passing through the park?
