An astonishing video from Uganda shows a would-be motorcycle thief 'handcuffed' by a swarm of bees that had been summoned by a witch doctor. The bizarre incident reportedly occurred last week in the district of Koboko after the unnamed ne'er-do-well made off with a resident's ride. Rather than turn to the police for help, the motorcycle owner opted to enlist a local witch doctor who set about casting a spell that quickly brought the thief to justice. To the amazement of witnesses, a "swarm of bees appeared seemingly out of nowhere" and enveloped the hands of the man in a manner resembling a set of cuffs.
No doubt stunned by what had just happened and unable to free himself from the swarm of bees, the man proceeded to walk to the local police station where he was subsequently arrested. While some might suspect that the cops were not too thrilled with the supernatural form of vigilante justice, one officer on the scene actually expressed appreciation that the case was solved swiftly and in a non-violent manner. Once the thief was in custody, the witch doctor released him from the strange curse by way of another ritual from her proverbial bag of tricks. The weird incident is not the first time that a sorcerer summoning a swarm of bees has been credited with solving a crime as, back in October, a pair of thieves in Kenya were also thwarted in a similar fashion.
