A pair of mystifying videos captured in Canada show the body of a dead bird inexplicably floating in the sky over a street and no one can quite figure out how the weird scene came about. The eerie anomaly was reportedly first filmed last week by an unnamed witness who spotted the unusual sight near a school in the city of Surrey, British Columbia. In the video (seen above), the astounded man zooms in on a bird that seems to be dead and observes that "it is just floating in the air, no strings, no nothing." He then proceeds to walk around beneath the 'frozen' creature and there is no indication of anything keeping it afloat.
Lest one think that the footage is some kind of computer generated hoax, a second witness also happened to spot the motionless bird at what appears to be the same time as the man, but from a different angle and posted her video to social media as well. While passing beneath the creature in their car, she and her companion wonder what exactly they are seeing. "It's so weird because it should be moving," she muses and her nearly speechless friend marvels that he cannot see anything that would explain how the bird could be floating in the air. The pair then amusingly consider the possibility that the animal might wind up falling on their car, so they depart the scene without any answers regarding what they had just encountered.
The puzzling videos have become something of a local mystery in the community with all manner of opinions and theories being offered. While the possibility that the scene was paranormal in nature has been pondered by some, more skeptical observers have put forward the suggestion that the dead bird is being held afloat by fishing line, though the question of how such a scenario would occur makes the already puzzling sight all the more perplexing. Remarkably, after seeing the video online, one particularly curious local resident visited the location to see the motionless creature for herself, but it had disappeared by the time she arrived.
