An intriguing piece of dashcam footage from England shows a rather sizeable creature crossing the road in front of a car and the driver who witnessed the odd animal believes that it was an infamous British big cat. The strange sighting reportedly occurred earlier this month as Tim Moon and his son were cruising down a highway in the county of East Sussex. To their profound surprise, a fair distance ahead of the vehicle, a mysterious creature suddenly ran across the road in front of them, prompting the man to exclaim "did you see that?" While the sighting only lasted a few seconds, Moon had little doubt as to what he had just seen.
"It was very long with a tail that looked equal to its body," he recalled, "I knew straight away it was a big cat, having seen one up close before." To that end, Moon indicated that he had previously encountered one of Britain's mysterious apocryphal felines "while working for a farmer" over two decades ago and, as such, "I knew exactly what it was when I saw it." Fortunately, his car was equipped with a dashcam that captured footage of the curious creature bounding across the road. Alas, as with so many alleged big cat videos, it is difficult to discern whether the animal was a genuine panther or merely a domestic pet that appeared unusual because it was so far away.
