An intriguing piece of footage purportedly filmed from aboard an airliner flying over the Atlantic Ocean shows a curious cluster of UFOs that left onlookers baffled. The strange sighting reportedly took place in February off the coast of North Carolina and came to light this week when video of the odd incident was submitted to MUFON. According to the witness, the incident began with the sudden appearance of a "brilliant orb of light" in the sky outside the plane. Shortly thereafter, the UFO was joined by "a second or third light orb disbursing from the original forming a triangle or other erratic trajectories." The witness goes on to say that the objects, which ultimately increased to five in total, would appear and disappear over the course of the twenty-minute-long sighting.
The individual who captured the footage also indicated that "several airliners witnessed and discussed" the sighting "over common frequency." To that end, while the witness is anonymous, the sound of radio chatter in the background of the video suggests that they were a part of the flight crew at the time of the event. While skeptics will no doubt argue that the 'UFOs' are something prosaic, such as balloons, the bewildered sound of the observer's voice as he describes what he is seeing lends credence to the idea that it was truly unusual from his perspective.
