A spooky piece of footage from a notoriously haunted hotel in Texas features an eerie sound that some believe to be the disembodied voice of a ghost child. The creepy incident reportedly took place last week at the Historic Jefferson Hotel, which was built over a century ago and boasts a long history of paranormal activity, including several unnerving events that have been documented on the site's YouTube channel over the past few years. According to co-owner Jeremy Jones, the most recent event was captured on video by a security camera that was watching over him as he was "working on the laundry room of the hotel late at night."
Upon hearing "someone walking in the hallway," Jones looks in that direction, but does not see anyone. However, as he is glancing towards the source of the sound, one can hear what he believes to have been "a disembodied voice of a child" seemingly saying hello. Chillingly, at the very instant that the suspected spirit speaks, a bottle of glue in front of Jones inexplicably tips over on the table in front of him. To his credit, the hotel proprietor is remarkably calm following the unsettling pair of incidents and simply sits there presumably taking in what he has just experienced before slowly exiting the room.
